Special Events: Free Comic Book Day, Cadets Con, pre-releases, and many other gaming events.
Community Involvement: Fundraisers for schools and local charities is always a focus, visiting schools, festival events in our community.
How was your FCBD event? Amazingly awesome! We raised lots of money for charity and welcomed a lot of new customers.
What did you like about the Retailer Summit? The accessibility of the publishers.
What aspect of your store makes you the most proud? The family-friendly atmosphere. We are well-organized and clean.
What do you do that is innovative within your store? We were the first store in the area to cater to kids and families. We have day camps for kids.
What has been your best in-store promotion? Our in-store convention, Cadets Con. It brought in folks from all over Houston and supported our local talent.
What has been your best out-of-store or cross-promotion? We sponsor cosplay contests, panels, and CGC signature series signings at conventions.
What recent changes have you made in the store? We expanded our store, doubling the square footage and added a full service café.
What are your plans for the near future? Expand our outreach in schools.
How did you choose your store name? We wanted something memorable. Something catchy. People remember our name.
