How was your Halloween ComicFest event? It was a very good day. We had a big turnout.
What has been your best promotion or event? Free Comic Book Day is always big, but this year’s Halloween ComicFest was really outstanding. We had several artists and lots of cosplayers that help make the day special. And we always provide food at all of our major events.
What recent changes have you made in the store? We added a manga section recently as demand has grown. We have also started offering some higher end POP Vinyl figures and Hot Toys items too.
What steps have you taken to expand your customer base or to reach out to individuals unfamiliar with your store or comics in general? Facebook really works well for us. Yelp advertising has been successful. We set a daily sales goal and each time we exceed it we set those monies aside for our big events to we can treat our customers to a cookout, which they really like and then support future events and become loyal customers.
What are your plans for the near future? We would like to expand and possibly re-locate. We plan to do more advertising and hopefully open a second store at some point down the road.
How did you choose your store name? We sort of put comics and crazy together to come up with a catchy name, which also lent itself to a good logo design.
What superpower would you most like to have? The ability to heal.
