DC Reveals Variant Covers for Scooby & Future Quest

This May, DC Entertainment unveils a new take on classic Saturday Morning cartoon characters with the release of Future Quest and Scooby Apocalypse, and here’s a look at some hot variant covers for these two great books!

On sale May 18, Future Quest takes teenage adventurer Jonny Quest and the classic Hanna-Barbera action heroes into a whole new dimension! Of the four variant covers that will be made available, here are two rendered by Steve Rude and Bill Sienkiewicz. Steve Rude gives us a fantastic depiction of Jonny Quest and his pal Hadji, while Bill Sienkiewicz delivers an awesome rendition of Space Ghost, Jan, Jace and their mascot Blip, against a backdrop of his arch-nemeses, Brak and Zorak. Later, on May 25, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma and Fred are at it again, solving the mystery behind a nanite-infected world in Scooby Apocalypse. In addition to the standard cover by veteran artist Jim Lee, here's two of the four variants that shows Scooby-Doo (complete with Scooby Snack) by Howard Porter, and mystery hunter Fred Jones from the legendary artist Neal Adams!
