Favorite Recent Comic Book: Candice – Outer Darkness, David – Immortal Hulk, Enzo – Gutt Ghost.

What has been your best promotion or event? Aside from Free Comic Book Day?? Our Detective Comics #1000 midnight release was a big success. We actually stayed open until 3:00 A.M. discussing comics with customers!!

What recent changes have you made in the store? We recently added a coffee shop and vinyl records to our shop. Also, we rent board games now!

What steps have you taken to reach out to people unfamiliar with your store or comics in general? We have joined forces with our local library to increase awareness of the library’s resources and make the community aware of our presence.

What are your plans for the near future? One of our next community-focused events will be based on learning how to create a comic. We are also beginning monthly book clubs.

How did you choose your store name? Brainstorming between us three. We ran through “Snikt”, “Thwipp”, and then Kurt Wagner’s sound effect stuck!

What superpower would you most like to have? Candice – shape shifting, David – healing factor, Enzo – world peace.
